The Upper Peninsula's First Community Solar Garden

What is Community Solar?

Community solar offers residents and businesses the opportunity to benefit from locally produced renewable energy without having to install solar panels on their property. The MBLP community solar garden will be located on site at the Marquette Board of a Light & Power offices to maximize solar exposure and reduce cost to participants.

Why should you participate?

Community solar gives you the opportunity to support and benefit from clean, renewable, locally produced energy. Marquette Board of Light and Power customers can participate in the program and receive credit on their utility bill for the power produced at the community solar garden.

How do you get involved?

It’s simple. Join our mailing list and you’ll be the first to know when panels become available at the Upper Peninsula’s first community solar garden. We are happy to explain the details of the program by email or by phone.
